Nursing school
Nursing school is HARD, but not impossible. It seems that way but with the right techniques, it’s really doable!
Studying🩷
Before and after every lecture, review the material that you went over that day. This gives you the opportunity to completely understand the material and you don’t have to cram for the exam. Make sure you also also find time for your hobbies and the things that de-stress you. If that’s running, walks, or reading, try to find time for the things you love!
Organization🩷
BUY A PLANNER!!! I go by my planner every single day to figure out what I have that’s due for the week. It feels almost like a cheat sheet on what I have to do for the day!

Nursing school can be an incredibly challenging journey, but with the right mindset and tools, it becomes achievable. One essential aspect is the development of effective study habits. Active learning techniques, such as summarizing lecture notes, can significantly enhance retention and understanding of complex topics. Students should consider forming study groups to discuss challenging material, allowing for diverse perspectives and collaborative learning. Another critical component is time management. Utilizing a planner not only helps in keeping track of assignments and deadlines but also aids in prioritizing tasks. Establishing a routine can bring structure to your day, blending study periods with relaxation time, which is vital for mental health. Remember, taking breaks and pursuing hobbies can prevent burnout and maintain motivation. Networking with peers in the nursing program is invaluable. Online forums and social media groups can serve as platforms for exchanging resources, insights, and support. Engaging in these communities allows students to share experiences, seek advice, and foster a sense of belonging, often crucial during tough times in nursing school. Finally, always seek help when needed. Whether it's from professors, mentors, or classmates, asking for assistance is a strength, not a weakness. Utilizing available resources, such as tutoring services and counseling, can keep you on track to achieving your academic goals. Remember, you are not alone on this journey, and collaboration can lead to greater success in your nursing career.
