I am watching you

Ella is on a train one afternoon when she sees two young girls being courted by two men. She overhears the men saying they are fresh from prison and contemplates tracking down the parents of these 16-year-old girls to tattle. On a snap decision, she changes her mind and when one of them goes missing that day, Ella spends the next year of her life racked with guilt over doing nothing.
I just feel this book kept going to far back and forth and the killer really didn’t make sense and there were questions left unanswered. It just didn’t make sense.

With a thrilling lineup of stories this season, 'Off The Deep End' by Lucinda Berry stands out as a bestseller. This psychological thriller takes readers on an emotional rollercoaster as therapist turned stay-at-home mom, Jules Hart, grapples with the haunting aftermath of a tragic accident. Berry's storytelling excels at weaving suspense with deep psychological insights, making it a must-read for fans of the genre. On the other hand, 'I Am Watching You' invites a different perspective on the theme of guilt and moral decisions. Ella's choice on a train leads her into a labyrinth of consequences when one of the girls she saw goes missing. The intertwining narratives of choice and consequence keep readers engaged, although some critiques note that the pacing occasionally lags and certain plot points remain unresolved. Both books reflect complex themes of loss and guilt, making them perfect picks for readers looking to dive into intense emotional experiences.
