Disney Park Bag Must Haves!

Being a pass holder at WDW and Universal Studios I know a thing or two when it comes to packing the essentials for summer in the parks but not over packing.

✨Must have✨

•Hand Sanitizer

•Lipgloss/chapstick with SPF

•Sunglasses

•Bag that zips

•Insulated water bottle with ice

•Hand wipes

•External battery

•SPF

•Travel sized stick deodorant…this can also be used to help with chafing!

❌Don’t bring❌

•Large backpack

•Selfie sticks

•Bottled water…it can easily leak and doesn’t stay cold.

•Snacks that can melt in the heat such as chocolate.

• Makeup…bringing some items to touch up is great but applying a full face during the summer is not necessary because it WILL melt off immediately.

•Drawstring bags…they tear and break easily.

•Large bottles of sunscreen…buy travel size ones to put in your bag.

•Umbrellas…pack ponchos instead. They are more compact and won’t set off the metal detectors at security like umbrellas do.

... Read moreWhen planning a day at Disney parks like WDW or Universal Studios, efficient packing is crucial. A checklist can help ensure you don't forget any essentials. Besides the basics, consider bringing portable chargers since you'll be using your phone for photos and maps. Staying hydrated is vital, especially in summer, so have an insulated water bottle filled with ice to keep your drinks cool. Additionally, dressing appropriately for the weather can enhance your experience. Lightweight clothing is a must, as well as comfortable shoes to keep your feet happy during long walks. Ponchos are better than umbrellas for sudden rain, as they save space and trouble at security checks. Consider using zipper bags for snacks and other items you want to access quickly. Lightweight and easy to pack, they can help you stay organized in your bag. Don't forget to apply SPF before heading to the parks to protect your skin from the sun. Lastly, take advantage of Disney’s mobile services to keep your itinerary flexible. Whether it's booking reservations or checking ride wait times, staying connected will enhance your park experience. With these tips, you'll be ready for an amazing day filled with magical memories!
