AirWeights 24’ x 36” vacuum table
The AirWeights 24' x 36" vacuum table is ready to use on my Onefinity CNC. I’ll be doing some test carving on this in the next couple days.
I recently installed the AirWeights 24’ x 36” vacuum table on my Onefinity CNC, and I’m excited to share my experience so far. Vacuum tables like this are game-changers for anyone doing CNC carving because they provide a secure, evenly distributed hold on the workpiece without the need for mechanical clamps. This not only speeds up the setup process but also allows for better access to the edges of the material. One of the things I appreciated right away about this table was its size and build quality. At 24 by 36 inches, it offers ample surface area to accommodate larger projects or multiple smaller pieces at once. The vacuum force is consistent across the table, which ensures that the material stays flat and secure throughout the cutting or carving process, reducing chatter and improving precision. While I haven’t completed extensive testing yet, initial test carvings went smoothly with minimal material movement. The vacuum’s ability to hold down thin or delicate stock safely is particularly useful, especially for intricate work where clamping pressure might otherwise deform the workpiece. Setting up the vacuum table was straightforward with the Onefinity CNC, as the alignment and mounting points matched well, and the unit integrates seamlessly into my existing workflow. The only tip I’d share is ensuring all hoses and fittings are tightly connected to avoid any loss of vacuum pressure during longer runs. For hobbyists and professionals alike, a vacuum table like the AirWeights 24' x 36” is an excellent investment. It improves workflow efficiency and accuracy, making complex carving or cutting tasks easier and more reliable. I’m looking forward to doing more detailed projects and sharing results once I’ve had more time to explore all the capabilities of this setup.
