WHAT I TRIED ON AT TARGET AS A PICKY GIRL 💁🏻‍♀️

Just my opinions on some new Spring arrivals at Target. 💁🏻‍♀️ There’s a lot of potential but only really loved the mauve shirt. This is why I always have to try on clothes before I buy them. 🫣 Anyone else as picky as me? #targetfinds #target #outfits #springoutfitideas #outfits @

... Read moreOkay, fellow fashion explorers, let's talk about one of Target's most beloved brands: Wild Fable. If you're anything like me, you've probably scrolled past their vibrant displays or seen countless hauls featuring their trendy pieces. But what really makes Wild Fable a go-to, especially for those of us who are a bit more discerning about our style choices? For me, Wild Fable hits that sweet spot of affordability and trending styles. They're fantastic for experimenting with new looks without breaking the bank. However, as a 'picky girl,' I've learned a few tricks to navigate their collections successfully. It's not always a home run, but when it is, it's a real gem! First off, sizing can be a bit inconsistent, so don't be afraid to grab a few sizes to try on. I often find their dresses, like the checkered slip dresses or the white sleeveless dress, can run a tad large, which is something to keep in mind if you prefer a more fitted look. For items like their denim jeans, I always recommend trying on multiple washes and styles. I recently found a pair of light wash blue denim that I loved, but I had to go up a size to get that perfect relaxed fit. Always check the fabric blend too – sometimes a piece looks great but feels less than ideal, like that graphic tee with the "Life is sweeter by the sea" print that was cute but not soft. Let's talk about those slip dresses. The green checkered slip dress might scream St. Patrick's Day, but with a simple white tee underneath or a denim jacket, it becomes a versatile piece for spring. The black and white checkered slip dress with bows could be dressed up with heels or down with sneakers. And that long-sleeved, ribbed, dusty rose-colored top with a cowl neck? Absolute winner! It's super flattering and pairs beautifully with everything from jeans to skirts, like that cream-colored midi skirt with pink and purple floral patterns. Just imagine it with some layered necklaces! I also saw that white long-sleeved cardigan. While soft, if you're bustier like me, watch out for button gaps. Sometimes a simple camisole underneath or sizing up can fix this. And the navy and white gingham sleeveless dress? While it reminded me a bit of a tablecloth, with the right accessories – maybe some cowboy boots, as suggested for another dress – it could totally transform into a charming picnic-ready outfit. My advice? Go into Wild Fable with an open mind but a critical eye. Don't fall for something just because it's trendy or cheap. Ask yourself: 'Does this truly fit my style? Is it comfortable? Will I wear this more than once?' That mauve shirt I mentioned earlier? It was a clear winner because it ticked all those boxes. It’s about finding those special pieces that align with your personal style, not just what's popular. So, next time you're at Target, don't shy away from the Wild Fable section. With a little patience and these tips, you just might discover your next favorite spring outfit. Happy hunting!

I'm also super picky. I stopped buying a bunch of stuff from Target because the clothes are made with crap fabric. They look like I've worn an item 1000x after only one wash. not worth the money.
