Pizza at home 🍕

You'll need:

• Pizza Crust of your choosing.

• Toppings of your choosing

• Sauce of your choosing

1.) Preheat oven to 425°

2.) Brush pizza crust with olive oil, we used Mama Mary's crust.

3.) Top with sauce of your choosing, we used Bertolli vodka sauce.

4.) Top with meat of your choice, we used pepperoni and Canadian bacon.

5.) Top with half your cheese, we used Sargento Mozzarella.

6.) Top with veggies of your choice, we used black olive and pineapple.

7.) Complete with the rest of your cheese. We did use an entire lb of cheese on this so it was a super satisfying cheese pull.

8.) Bake for 10-12 minutes. If you use as much cheese as us you might go closer to 15 minutes so it browns to your liking.

9.) Let cool, slice and enjoy!

One thing I’ve learned from trying different homemade pizzas is that the quality of your crust and sauce really makes a difference. For instance, using a pre-made crust like Mama Mary’s simplifies things and ensures a nice, even thickness without the hassle of making dough from scratch. Similarly, sauces like Bertolli vodka sauce add a rich, tangy flavor that pairs wonderfully with various toppings. I highly recommend experimenting with toppings that you love, not just traditional ones. For example, adding pineapple brings a sweet contrast that complements salty meats such as pepperoni and Canadian bacon. Black olives add a briny, savory note that enhances the overall taste. Be generous with your cheese—using a full pound of mozzarella creates that coveted cheesy pull everyone loves and makes every bite extra satisfying. When baking, keep an eye on your pizza after the initial 10-12 minutes, especially if you loaded it with cheese. Sometimes it takes a few extra minutes to get the perfect golden-brown top and well-melted cheese. Once out of the oven, letting it cool for a short while helps your pizza slice cleanly and keep all those gooey toppings intact. Homemade pizza also offers the chance to make it a social activity. Invite friends or family to join in topping their own pizzas, which not only makes dinner more interactive but also allows everyone to enjoy their favorite flavors. Plus, it’s a satisfying project for a weekend night or a casual lunch. Whether you’re feeding a crowd or just craving a personal pizza, this method gives you flexibility and the chance to enjoy a fresh, flavorful meal made exactly how you like it, right in your own kitchen.
