1️⃣ My planner!

~ I use it for more than schedules, it’s where I track progress and reflect.

2️⃣ A quiet space to recoup!

~ Even five minutes of breathing resets me between seeing people.

3️⃣ My favorite pen + Alani Nu or ice water

~ These are tiny joys and pick-me-ups that make long days manageable!

4️⃣ My mentors and colleagues!

~ The daily treatment teams and debrief chats are priceless.

... Read moreHaving these 5 essentials at work is more than just convenient—it’s a smart strategy for maintaining well-being and productivity in any role. Planners, for example, aren’t just about scheduling appointments; they are a powerful tool for tracking progress and reflecting on achievements, which helps reduce stress and improve time management throughout busy days. A quiet space to recoup is invaluable in any work environment. Taking even five minutes to breathe and reset can recharge your mental state, making it easier to handle demanding situations and social interactions effectively. This small pause contributes to better emotional regulation and prevents burnout. Bringing along a favorite pen and staying hydrated with ice water or a refreshing drink like Alani Nu are subtle yet effective ways to create little moments of joy. These micro-treats can enhance mood and keep energy steady during long, hectic work hours. Mentors and colleagues provide essential support networks. Engaging in daily treatment teams or debrief chats offers emotional support, advice, and professional guidance, which are key for continuous growth and navigating challenges in the workplace. Finally, cultivating empathy and patience is critical. These invisible tools help build stronger relationships, improve communication, and enhance client and coworker interactions. They are foundational qualities that enable you to stay centered and deliver your best daily. Integrating these essentials into your work routine establishes a balanced, thoughtful approach to professional life. Regardless of your job, these survival tools help you maintain your well-being and effectiveness, ensuring you show up fully for those who rely on you. What are your must-have items at work, and how do they help you manage your day?
