✨ I wanted something warm and sweet, and something that screamed the best time of year, that being Fall DUB, is around the corner! These mini fried apple cobbler pies only took me about 25 minutes to make and tasted soooo freaking good 😮💨 I used the little graham cracker pie crusts, filled them with warm cinnamon-spiced fried apples, then crushed up some Honey Maid graham crackers, and sprinkled them all over the top for that cobbler-ish crumble. Into the oven they went just long enough for everything to get warm, bubbly and slightly toasted. It tasted 10/10 this way and the next day I added vanilla ice cream… when I say mf 100000/10??? You gotta make it just to understand my hype!
👩🏾🍳 What I Used:
~ Margaret Holmes Fried Apples
~ Keebler Mini Graham Cracker Pie Crusts
~ Honey Maid Graham Crackers
~ Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust
~ McCormick Apple Pie Spice
~ A little butter to coat the pan
~ Whipped cream to top
✨ And that’s IT! 🙌🏾 You could easily switch these up to, add caramel drizzle (I was tempted to do this so bad lol), chopped pecans, extra cinnamon, or even make one big version instead of the minis in a regular pie crust!
... Read moreMaking mini fried apple cobbler bowls is a fantastic way to celebrate the flavors of fall in a quick and easy way. From my experience, using pre-made graham cracker pie crusts like Keebler saves so much time without sacrificing that classic cobbler texture. The magic truly lies in the fried apples — I like to cook them slowly with a blend of cinnamon, apple pie spice, and just a touch of brown sugar to really enhance the sweetness and warmth. The Honey Maid graham cracker crumble sprinkled on top adds a delightful crunch, making every bite a mix of smooth, soft, and crispy textures.
One trick I’ve found helpful is to lightly butter the pan before placing the mini crusts in the oven. This helps them get a perfectly toasted edge, balancing nicely with the soft apple filling. While the recipe mentions a quick oven time just to warm everything through, I’ve sometimes extended baking by a few minutes to get a bubbly, golden finish, but be careful not to overbake or dry out the filling.
A personal favorite tweak is adding a drizzle of caramel sauce or mixing in chopped pecans for added flavor and texture. These little adjustments can elevate the cobbler to a more indulgent version. And of course, topping the warm bowls with vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream adds that perfect creamy contrast that complements the cinnamon spice beautifully.
If you're concerned about sugar content, I found that using the fried apples labeled with lower fructose content helps keep the sweetness balanced without being overpowering. Shopping at stores like Food Lion makes finding these specific brands convenient.
Overall, these mini fried apple cobblers are not only visually charming but also bring that cozy fall vibe every bite of their warm, spiced apples. It’s a dessert that’s easy to share with family or friends and perfect for casual gatherings or just treating yourself after a long day. I highly recommend trying this recipe and making it your own with your favorite add-ins or toppings. Would love to hear what creative twists you come up with!
