Before and Now

Man this is hard to accept. I feel like we always look back and realize how much we didn’t appreciate what and who we were. It’s not until we all grow up have kids and looks back. Well a hard pill to swallow and here I am. Wishing I was skinnier and confident like I used to be. I need to get back to that. I find it so hard to be a disciplined as I was once upon a time ago. I know I can do it but man. It’s time to get back to it. I am 189lbs heavy and my goal is to be 150 at least by Spring of 26!! So here I am. I won’t go and get on TT or FB bc I hate the negativity on there so here I am hoping to get a few people to make me accountable. I hope you join me. #newbeginnings #workouttime #accountability #slowlybutsurely

... Read moreLooking back at life before significant changes, like becoming a parent, often brings a mix of nostalgia and motivation. It's common to remember ourselves as more confident and disciplined in the past, especially when facing new responsibilities and lifestyle shifts such as parenthood. This post highlights a powerful journey of embracing those feelings honestly and setting clear health goals like aiming to lose weight progressively and thoughtfully. The struggle with self-discipline is relatable, especially when trying to balance life changes while avoiding toxic online environments. Many find it helpful to seek accountability through supportive communities focused on encouragement and personal growth rather than comparison or negativity. Creating a positive environment can boost motivation and increase the chance of success. The hashtags #newbeginnings, #workouttime, #accountability, and #slowlybutsurely strongly emphasize a commitment to gradual progress and mental wellness—key factors that can lead to lasting change. Weight loss journeys are not just about the numbers but reclaiming confidence and learning appreciation for our evolving selves. Incorporating small, consistent actions like regular workouts, mindful eating, and tracking progress can build the discipline that once felt effortless. Encouraging others to join the journey fosters community support, which has been proven to promote accountability and emotional resilience. Avoiding platforms filled with negativity and instead focusing on uplifting spaces can make a significant difference. Ultimately, embracing a realistic approach—acknowledging feelings without judgment, setting achievable milestones, and surrounding oneself with positive influences—is essential for regaining confidence and physical health. This narrative is a genuine reminder that transformation is possible at any stage, especially when you have a supportive network and a clear vision of your goals.

what i pray before ever bible study
A couple Sundays ago, the pastor at church was going through Psalm 25. Near the end of the sermon he outlined a basic prayer from that chapter for us to use. I wrote it down, along with the verses that each part of the prayer came from, and started using it before I spent time in the word. I have n
