Just a simple sketch🍋🌸

I posted this at the end of my post from yesterday but decided to give it its own post bc I feel like it deserves it.

I drew this a few months ago on my trip to Charlotte after I went the the art museum and felt inspired to draw. It had been a few weeks of not drawing so for this to be my first drawing back, I think it came out great and that it deserved more love from me🫂

Sketching is a beautiful way to express creativity and emotions. It helps in improving focus and can serve as a therapeutic activity. After my recent visit to an art museum in Charlotte, I found inspiration all around me. The vibrant colors and diverse styles I observed influenced my own sketching process. This particular sketch, created after weeks of not drawing, symbolizes a fresh start and has rekindled my passion for art. It’s essential to take breaks, as they can often lead to unexpected bursts of inspiration. Reflecting on the process can also deepen our appreciation for our artwork. Many artists share similar experiences; sometimes the longest breaks yield the most extraordinary results. For those wanting to delve into sketching, consider visiting your local museum or gallery. Surrounding yourself with artistic expressions can provide a wellspring of creativity and ideas.
