Firgi steamer one minute review and tutorial
This is an older video (obviously, it's not Amazon prime this week lol). This product was gifted by Firgi for free in exchange for my honest review.
I had no idea what to expect when I went to try it, but as someone who is disabled and often has days where I have very little energy to cook actual meals, this product is a god send! I can have a healthier meal option like these dumplings in 3 minutes thanks to this steamer. It's made of 100% food grade silicone, dishwasher safe, and BPA free.
Not only can you make dumplings, but there are hundreds if not thousands of microwaveable recipe ideas online. This way you can steam vegetables, make fluffy scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, or dumplings like I did in the video.
As a disclaimer, I apologize that my grip of the chopsticks is not traditional. My writing finger is actually my third over, not my middle one. So dexterity-wise it's just easier for me to hold them this way. I need to buy myself some of those trainers for kids.

I’ve been using the Firgi silicone steamer for several weeks now, and it has genuinely transformed how I approach quick meals, especially on days when my energy is low. One of the standout features is how versatile it is: I’ve steamed dumplings, eggs (both scrambled and hard-boiled), and even quick-cooking vegetables like broccoli and carrots—all in my microwave in three minutes or less. The fact that it’s made from 100% food-grade silicone means it’s completely safe and free from harmful chemicals like BPA, which gives me peace of mind about my health. Another practical benefit is how easy it is to clean. After steaming, I simply pop it into the dishwasher. It’s also odor and stain resistant, so it doesn’t retain smells from previous meals, which can be an issue with plastic containers. I’ve even used it to prep meals in advance and safely stored it in the freezer—one less step when preparing for the week ahead. What’s great about the Firgi steamer is that it has multiple size options—including a 20oz and a 48oz version—and even a three-sectioned divider to cook different foods simultaneously without mixing flavors. This makes it effortless to prepare a balanced meal quickly. Plus, the steamer’s design includes steam holes for perfect moisture retention, resulting in tender and flavorful food every time. For me, as someone managing limited mobility, having a device that speeds up cooking without compromising nutrition or taste is a game-changer. Also, steaming rather than frying or microwaving directly preserves more nutrients in vegetables and eggs. If you’re someone who’s busy, disabled, or simply looking for a healthier fast meal hack, I genuinely recommend giving Firgi a try. Lastly, a quick tip from my experience: there are tons of microwave-based recipes online specifically designed for this type of steamer, so you can experiment with all kinds of meals beyond what I’ve mentioned. From dumplings to steamed buns, fish, and even desserts, the possibilities are vast and all ready within just minutes. It’s truly an underrated must-have kitchen gadget for quick, nutritious cooking.
