✨A few of my fave books I've read this year✨

I love to read, and even though I'm going through a bit of a slump with reading right now, these 3 books are my absolute top books read. Divine Rivals and Ruthless Vows are a series, and they are so heart-wrenching and amazing. The storytelling and world building are absolutely amazing. Jennette's autobiography/memoir is so well written and is really heartbreaking throughout. It really helps show some really horrible things child actors go through. I absolutely cried a lot reading all 3 of these. Highly recommend!

... Read moreIn 2023, the literary scene witnessed an array of compelling narratives, notably with 'Divine Rivals' and its sequel 'Ruthless Vows.' These novels not only excel in world-building but also showcase intricate character development that pulls readers into their emotional struggles and victories. Readers of fantasy will appreciate the blend of magical realism and relatable themes of friendship, devotion, and sacrifice. Furthermore, Jennette McCurdy's autobiography, 'I'm Glad My Mom Died,' stands out for its candid exploration of the challenges faced by child actors. This memoir breaks conventional storytelling molds, presenting an unfiltered look at fame, family dynamics, and the journey toward self-acceptance. Praised for its authenticity, the book acts as both a cautionary tale and a beacon of hope for many navigating similar life experiences. These stand-out titles can inspire readers in different walks of life, making them essential additions for any book lover's reading list.
