✨ARC Review✨Forsaken Souls by Melinda Woodhall

Forsaken Souls was the first book I’ve read by Melinda Woodhall, and I really enjoyed it. Even though it’s the sixth book in the Bailey Flynn series, I was able to follow along without having read the others.

The story has a nice pace, with some good twists and well-done characters. The ending was a surprise—I didn’t see the reveal coming. If you’ve read the earlier books, this one ties up a few of the loose ends. After reading it, I’m definitely interested in going back to check out the first five books.

Bailey Flynn is a strong main character. She’s recovering from a brain injury after being shot during an undercover operation, and she’s dealing with memory loss from that day. She’s determined to figure out who was behind it and how it connects to past crime.

... Read moreIf you're curious about the Bailey Flynn series after reading Forsaken Souls, I highly suggest exploring the earlier books to fully appreciate the character development and plot depth. Melinda Woodhall creates a resilient and relatable protagonist in Bailey, who overcomes significant challenges such as recovering from a brain injury and coping with memory loss. This adds a unique emotional layer to the crime narrative. From my experience, the pacing of the story is well-balanced, not rushing through important scenes but keeping the momentum with unexpected twists. The author’s skill in tying up loose ends from previous books in this installment provides satisfying closure while maintaining intrigue. For readers interested in crime fiction featuring strong female leads and complex psychological elements, this series is an excellent choice. Personally, reading Forsaken Souls has motivated me to start the first book right away to catch every detail and backstory. If you like stories that combine suspense with character depth and heartfelt moments, Melinda Woodhall’s work is a perfect pick.

The Jesus Bible review
This is an amazing Bible. It is easy to understand and read and have a bunch of benefits. It is in NIV btw. Each chapter has a timeline at the top of the page plus the history behind the book, details and facts about the author. There's two book marks so that you can flip from one book
