The rage this book made me feel… wow.
Behind Closed Doors tells the story of Grace, who’s fighting to survive and protect her sister Millie — all after marrying the man she thought was the love of her life. But the picture-perfect life she dreamed of quickly turns into something far more terrifying.
This was such a gripping read. It takes you through every emotion — at one point, I was genuinely plotting how to take Jack out myself (lol). Grace had me frustrated at times — I wanted to reach through the pages and shake her!
Millie, totally stole my heart. She’s proof you should never judge a book by its cover. Even though she’s presented as childlike, she fully understood what was happening — and the urgency to save herself and Grace.
An intense, fast-paced page-turner that hooks you from the very start.
P.S. I now irrationally hate “George Clooney”… if you know, you know.
