Flew myself to Dublin during St. Paddies Day and what a crowd! The streets by Temple Bar was FILLED with people enjoying full pints, good laughs, singing and dancing across the entire streets of Dublin. Kegs were getting rolled out every second from the bars! What an incredible moment to be a part of the Irish culture!

... Read moreVisiting Dublin during St. Patrick's Day is truly an experience unlike any other. The energy in the air is palpable from the moment you arrive, especially in the iconic Temple Bar district, which becomes the heart of the festivities. Streets are packed with locals and tourists alike, all gathered to celebrate Irish heritage with lively music, traditional dancing, and endless laughter. One of the most exciting aspects is seeing the kegs being rolled out continuously, ensuring that the pints of Guinness and other local brews keep flowing to thirsty revelers. This communal sharing of drinks and joy really embodies the spirit of the celebration. What struck me the most was the genuine warmth and friendliness of everyone there, making it easy to strike up conversations and feel part of a large, joyous family. The singing often spills out from the pubs, blending with the sounds of live bands and spontaneous street performances. It’s a perfect blend of cultural pride and unrestrained fun. If you plan to join St. Patrick's Day festivities in Dublin, prepare for large crowds but know that the atmosphere is welcoming and inclusive. Dress in green, bring your best cheer, and immerse yourself in this unique celebration of Irish culture. Whether you’re taking in the sights on the busiest street of Dublin, enjoying a pint in a traditional pub, or dancing alongside locals, it’s a moment you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Flight from Edinburgh to Dublin
I have finally figured out the best way to get to Edinburgh airport from the city centre. Ubers are a little too pricey, and the city tram isn’t running early enough for those early morning flights for weekend trips, so the bus is my go-to!! I had a 6:00am flight to Dublin from Edinburgh airport, s
