Day 8 &9
We had a hectic morning trying to make it to little brother’s birthday party at Sucky Ez
we had to go to an open house for teen volunteers this weekend and honestly I don’t think she was interest but it’s good to start looking outside the box for things that she likes.
🥍She starts lacrosse practice this week. I’m worried she may get behind on her homework from being so tired.
🎶Show choir competition season is also starting this month. She’s not sounding too stressed out but she also had really high anxiety before starting her medication and accidentally finished her recorded dance videos for show choir a week early 😅

Parenting can feel overwhelming, especially when juggling multiple activities like sports and performing arts. It's important to support your child while also ensuring they manage their time effectively. Lacrosse can offer a great outlet for physical activity, helping to mitigate stress, while show choir brings creative expression. Parents often worry about their children's anxiety levels; understanding mental health and establishing an open dialogue is crucial in these situations. Remember to celebrate small wins and reinforce a positive mindset. Tools like time management apps or creating a shared calendar can help keep track of homework and practice schedules. Encourage your teen to explore their interests, as this can lead to personal growth and a sense of accomplishment. By fostering a supportive environment, you enable your child to thrive emotionally and academically, creating a harmonious balance between extracurricular activities and schoolwork.
