When people begin to walk in healing and wholeness, we’re quick to say they’ve switched up. But in reality, it’s not that they switched it’s that your perspective of them hasn’t caught up to the work God has done in their life. When God heals, restores, and transforms a person, they can’t remain who they used to be. Don’t confuse growth with disloyalty; sometimes it’s just the evidence of God’s healing. 🙌🏽✨ #fyp #foryou
Having walked through my own journey of healing, I've learned firsthand how transformation can be misunderstood by those around us. When someone begins to experience spiritual growth, their actions and perspectives start to shift—often faster than others can grasp. This can lead to feelings of being labeled as 'switched up' or 'changed,' which is really just a reflection of others' difficulty in recognizing new growth rather than a betrayal of past values. In my experience, genuine healing happens gradually yet powerfully. It reshapes not only behaviors but also attitudes and emotional responses. When God works in a person's life to restore and heal, the individual naturally evolves into a fuller version of themselves. This transformation is evidence of divine work rather than disloyalty or inconsistency. It is essential to embrace these changes with open hearts and updated perspectives. I found that maintaining supportive relationships during these transitions is key. Encouraging one another to acknowledge growth rather than resisting it strengthens bonds and fosters deeper community. Instead of clinging to past versions of people, we should celebrate the wholeness they've gained. Healing is not just a moment but a continuous journey, often marked by renewed purpose, resilience, and peace. If you’re witnessing someone you care about changing, I encourage you to reflect on whether your view has caught up to their current reality. True spiritual growth is liberating and hopeful, and recognizing this allows us to walk alongside each other with grace and understanding.
