DVT = deep vein thrombosis (a blood clot in a deep vein). The axillary vein is a large, deep vein that goes from the chest to the arm. (So, not ideal for a blood clot… it’s getting close to important organs) I imagine waiting until January 6th may have been a bad a choice. It’s good my nurse made me go in and good that’s it’s important for me to feel like a complaint patient. Lol.
