Signs of gut issues 🫶🏽

The gut impacts so many parts of the body, particularly because of the gut-brain connection. The stomach has a network of nerves that directly link to the brain. This is why our emotions have such a direct effect on our stomach - we can feel nauseous if we are nervous, butterflies if we are excited, and constipation if we are stressed.

Look at for these signs that your gut health is off:

✨ Digestive issues: this is the most obvious one! Constipation, acid reflux, and more are the first signs of gut health being off.

✨ Urinary/vaginal issues: food is digested in the gut but nutrients, bacteria, etc are processed through intestines such as the kidneys and liver. They connect to the bladder. The gut-vaginal axis is how the gut can impact the vaginal ph.

✨ Skin issues: all of the bacterial build up in the gut has to go somewhere! It goes outward aka to the skin. This is why issues like eczema and acne show up with gut issues.
