Signs of hormonal imbalances

Hormones are your body’s chemical messengers!

It’s normal for them to fluctuate especially around puberty, menstrual cycle, and menopause. But when hormones fluctuate to levels that are too high or too low at times when they’re not supposed to, it can trigger symptoms.

It can take months to rebalance hormones after making lifestyle adjustments & lowering stress. The best thing to do is see a doctor for blood work. Get your estrogen, progesterone, & testosterone tested + a regular blood work panel.

This will give you insight to your body & start giving you a base line for your blood work. It’s so important to get your blood work done at least twice a year even if you’re not having symptoms.

Hope this helps!!

Hormonal acne, often linked with conditions like PCOS, can lead to overproduction of sebum, causing breakouts, particularly along the jawline, neck, and cheeks. Gut health is also significantly influenced by hormones; for instance, fluctuating estrogen levels can lead to digestive issues such as constipation or diarrhea, with many experiencing bloating before or during their menstrual cycle. Hair growth patterns can indicate hormonal changes, where increased body hair or thinning hair might occur due to elevated levels of DHT linked to stress or low estrogen. Women may also experience irregular or heavy menstrual periods, which could point towards hormonal imbalances caused by stress or thyroid issues. These fluctuations can affect emotional health, with estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone influencing mood, leading to anxiety or depression. Regular blood work at least twice a year can provide insights into your hormonal health and help identify these issues early on, facilitating effective lifestyle changes.

I'm 38 & I wish when I was younger I knew what I know now about my hormone imbalance I was having my period for a whole entire month straight. So here are some herbal supplements you can take to help Vitex (chaseberry tree), cinnamon capsules, NAC (N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine) the pills stink, Siberian Ginseng, Maca Root.
