As a longtime anime fan, I’ve found that choosing a 10/10 character often depends on what qualities resonate most with you. Both Goku, from Dragon Ball, and Tanjiro, from Demon Slayer, have massive followings for good reasons. Goku is iconic for his unmatched fighting spirit and constantly pushing his limits to protect his friends and universe. His character development through decades of anime history illustrates resilience, growth, and determination. On the other hand, Tanjiro’s appeal lies in his compassionate nature and strong sense of justice. His journey is emotionally compelling as he balances a kind heart with the harsh realities of battling demons. When I compare them, Goku’s larger-than-life adventures offer epic battles and a powerful source of nostalgia. Tanjiro, meanwhile, brings depth through his emotional struggles and personal growth, which many viewers find inspiring and relatable. From my personal experience, choosing a 10/10 depends on whether you value high-energy, action-packed storylines or emotionally-driven character arcs more.
