I truly believe a good surimi mayonnaise salad is a game-changer. It’s not just for sushi rolls! I’ve been experimenting for a while, and I’ve finally perfected my go-to recipe that I simply have to share. The key is balance – creamy, a little tangy, and full of texture. I usually start by flaking my surimi very finely. This ensures every bite gets that perfect blend of flavor. Now, let's talk mayonnaise. For me, the quality of your mayo makes all the difference. I find a good quality, full-fat mayonnaise gives the best creaminess, but if you're watching your calories, a light mayo or even a mix of mayo and Greek yogurt works wonderfully. Sometimes I even use a specific brand, like 'JamCat' mayo, which has a lovely zing to it. Don't be afraid to experiment with different types to find your favorite! Beyond the basic surimi and mayo, this salad is a fantastic canvas for adding your favorite mix-ins. I absolutely LOVE THIS! Quick and easy snack when you don’t feel like cooking. Just fake crab, butter and bay seasoning. It tastes so much better than the cheap fake imitation crab. Just have to melt the butter add the seasoning and then you’re done! Price 💲(all from Walmart) surimi crab legs:
