One thing that helped me was breaking down the jump into smaller parts—mastering each phase separately before combining them smoothly. Recording practice sessions also provided insights into posture and landing techniques, enabling improvements over time. Participating in dance conventions often means adapting to less-than-ideal conditions, including missing your usual support system. These experiences cultivate independence and build mental toughness, essential qualities for any dancer aiming to perform consistently under pressure.
