[Ingredients] For 4 people (easy to make)
Bread (8 slices): 8 slices (1 loaf)
Strawberries: 20 pieces ~ (5 pieces per person for small grains; 8 pieces per person for ultra-small grains)
Fresh cream (vegetable is OK)... 150g
Yogurt (plain)... 60 g
Sugar... 4 tablespoons
★ Powdered gelatin... 3g
★ Water... 10 g
[How to make]
Add water to gelatin powder and leave for at least 5 minutes. Heat at 600W for 20 seconds to dissolve.
Add to yogurt and mix.
Add sugar to the whipped cream and whisk until firm and firm (until horns form).
Add yogurt to the cream and mix.
Place the bread on a large sheet of plastic wrap and spread about 2 / 3 of the cream.
Place the strawberries diagonally with the part to be cut in mind.
Top with the rest of the cream and top with the bread.
Wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest for at least half a day.
Cut with a warm knife from the top of the wrap.

フルーツサンドって見た目は可愛いのに、いざ作ると「クリームがはみ出る」「切ったら断面がぐちゃっ…」ってなりがち。私が安定して成功できるようになったポイントを、追加でまとめます。 まず“パン選び”。サンドイッチ用パンでも作れますが、ふわふわ系の食パン(8枚切りや6枚切り)が扱いやすいです。4枚切り食パンを使うなら、パンが厚い分クリーム量が必要になるので、クリームは気持ち多めに用意すると満足感が上がります。逆に薄いパンは水分が移りやすいので、いちごの水気をしっかり拭くのが大事。 次に“水切りヨーグルト”アレンジ。もっと濃厚にしたい日は、プレーンヨーグルトをキッチンペーパーで30分〜1時間だけ軽く水切りしてから混ぜると、コクが出るのにダレにくさもアップします(やりすぎると硬くなりやすいので軽めが◎)。 “グラニュー糖と砂糖の違い”も意外と効きます。家にグラニュー糖400gがあるなら、生クリームの泡立てが安定しやすくておすすめ。口当たりがすっとして、いちごの甘さが主役になりやすい印象です。上白糖でもOKですが、甘さが強く感じるときは少しだけ減らして調整しています。 そして“余った生クリームの使い切り”。私は少量残ったら冷凍して、次にホットココアに浮かべたり、パンケーキにのせたりします。ほかにも、卵と合わせて簡単プリン風にしたり、カレーやシチューに少し入れてコク足しにするのも便利でした。 いちごが余った日は、イチゴジャムも手作りします。いちご+砂糖+レモン汁を弱火で煮るだけで、トーストやヨーグルトアレンジに大活躍。ドライいちごがあるなら、刻んでクリームに混ぜると水分が出にくく、香りだけ足せてフルーツサンド向きです。 最後に“切り方のコツ”をもう一つ。ラップでしっかり包んで一晩寝かせたら、切る直前に包丁を温めて、水分を拭いてから一気にスッと。これでクリームがつきにくく、断面がかなり整います。
