Boost Fiber & Reduce Mental Load

My go to easy ways to boost fiber while also reducing mental load:

🥙 Mediterranean night/Italian night? Add chickpeas.

🥡 Asian stir fry? Toss in edamame.

🌮 Mexican dishes? Stir in black beans.

No brand new recipes, just building onto simple meals that I’m already making. Whenever I don’t know what to make for dinner, I usually pick one of these.

If beans aren’t a regular part of your diet, start small and work your way up — your gut bacteria adapt over time. A little discomfort at first doesn’t mean they’re “bad” for you. It often just means your gut is adjusting.

These simple swaps provide a satisfying source of fiber without overcomplicating meal planning. Over time, increasing your fiber intake with beans can improve digestion, support gut health, and even enhance energy levels.
