Truthfully, I dreaded doing this today. But it took WAY less time than I anticipated and I feel infinitely better having it done! Get up and just start with one room. You might get some momentum and keep going and if not, you at least got one room taken care of. You got this!!!🫶🏼 #cleanwithme #cleaningmotivation #sundayreset #resetwithme #stayathomemom
Cleaning can often feel overwhelming, especially when you set high standards for yourself as a wife, mom, or homemaker. I used to procrastinate on tidying up, imagining it would take hours, but I found that just starting with one room drastically changed my mindset. Even if I didn’t finish the entire house, completing that first space gave me a sense of accomplishment that motivated me to continue. One strategy that works well is setting a timer for 15 to 30 minutes and focusing solely on that short block of time. When the timer goes off, you’ll likely feel energized to keep going, or at least you’ll have progressed more than if you never started. Incorporating positive affirmations like "You got this!" or reminding yourself of your commitment to being a better homemaker can be very empowering. I also found that sharing my progress with other stay-at-home moms provided a supportive environment that encouraged me to stay on track. Remember, progress over perfection is key. You don’t have to clean the entire house at once. Each small step brings you closer to a reset that feels refreshing both physically and mentally. When you commit to being a better wife, mom, and homemaker, daily small efforts add up to a big difference in your home environment and personal well-being.
