Postpartum can be an overwhelming time for new mothers. The demands of caring for a newborn can lead to significant stress and burnout. To mitigate this, prioritize your mental and physical well-being. Incorporate short naps whenever your baby sleeps, and take moments to engage in activities you enjoy, such as reading or meditating. This restorative time is crucial for maintaining a positive outlook. Additionally, enlist a support system—don't hesitate to reach out to family and friends for help with chores so you can focus on bonding with your baby. It’s okay for your home to be less than perfect during this time; cherish the memories you're creating with your little one. When cleaning is necessary, consider integrating it into your daily routine by involving your baby, such as narrating your activities or folding laundry during playtime. By being compassionate towards yourself and understanding that your baby values your presence over a tidy home, you can create a nurturing environment that fosters happiness and connection.

I cleaned during her first nap. And we slept together during her second long nap. It was great lol 🤣
