Monkey Mia's World!

You guys, I have to share the funniest thing Mia did recently! My adorable baby spidermonkey, Monkey Mia, is always up to something, but this really took the cake. I walked into the living room and there she was, perched on her favorite little cushion, looking absolutely studious with a pair of spectacles perched on her tiny nose. My first thought flashed through my mind: 'Oh no, did my little Monkey Mia swipe someone's glasses?' She's incredibly clever and so curious about everything we do. It wouldn't surprise me at all if she decided to 'borrow' a pair of human accessories. I mean, she often tries to mimic our actions, and sometimes her attempts are just hilariously accurate. But just as I was about to gently retrieve them, my Gma (that's grandma!) came around the corner with a huge smile, completely bursting with pride. And just like that, the mystery was solved! It turns out Gma had actually picked up these tiny glasses just for Mia. Can you believe it? She thought Mia would look cute, and oh my goodness, was she right! Mia just loves to try on little hats and now, apparently, glasses. Seeing her in those spectacles, looking all serious and intellectual, just absolutely melted my heart. Having Monkey Mia in my life has been such a unique and rewarding experience. She has such a distinct personality, full of boundless energy, playful antics, and an incredible capacity for affection. It’s like having a perpetual, super-smart toddler, but with a very useful and expressive tail! We make sure her environment is super enriching, with plenty of climbing structures, puzzle feeders, and safe toys to keep her sharp and engaged. Spidermonkeys are known for being incredibly social animals, so she thrives on interacting with us, and those precious moments, like her recent 'glasses incident,' are ones I'll cherish forever.
