But let's be real, going out all the time can add up, and I always thought, 'What if I could make this exact magic at home?' Well, guess what? I did it, and honestly, it's wayyyy better! Seriously, you get all the delicious flavors, the juicy chicken, the perfectly cooked shrimp, and that incredible sizzling sauce, but with the comfort of your own kitchen and for a fraction of the price. Plus, you can tweak it exactly to your taste! After some trial and error, I perfected my copycat recipe. It’s surprisingly simple and comes together super fast, making it perfect for a weeknight dinner or when you want to impress without spending hours in the kitchen. Here’s how I make my favorite restaurant dish a homemade staple: Ingredients You'll Need: 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into 1-inch strips 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined 1 tablespoon olive oil Salt and black pepper to taste 2 tablespoons unsalted butter 1 tablespoon minced garlic 1/2 cup chicken broth 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium is great!) 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons cold water (slurry) 1 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon onion powder Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional) Cooked rice and steamed veggies for serving Fresh chopped parsley or cilantro, lemon wedges for garnish My Easy Steps to Sizzling Perfection: Prep & Cook Chicken: Pat chicken dry, season with salt/pepper.
