TAMPONS ARE POISONING US SO I QUIT

Did you hear about all the positive tests exposing lead in our tampons?!? Some of the biggest name brands that I regularly purchase and many others do too, are poisoning us...

This immediately freaked me out so I decided it is officially time to call it quits and switch over.

I am new to using a menstrual cup. There is definitely a learning curve here! It takes a bit to get used to but once you do, it is super efficient. It is great for the environment but also insanely cost effective long term. I would recommend getting a small sized one for your first one. The directions help a lot with insertion so definitely read those.

I love to use period underwear when I am at home! I like the cup for out and about but if I am just at home, I stick to the period underwear. Make sure you buy from a good brand that does not contain forever chemicals. But its super easy and you just have to wash them. Also cost effective and great for the environment!

I'm not happy I have been using tampons with lead but I am happy that I have made some switches.
