✨Best ramen in Vancouver!?✨️
Finally got to try @tsukiya_tonkotsu_ramen after so many Japanese friends told me it's the best ramen in Vancouver!
👉️Got there around 2 PM on Saturday and waited about 20 minutes. It's a cozy space, so groups might need to sit separately.
A small menu is usually a sign of great food, and this was no exception. I ordered the Shoyu Tonkotsu ramen with 3 types of aged soy sauce. One bite in, and I was genuinely shocked by how good it was. The texture of the noodles was on point!
Can't wait to go back and try their 3-miso tonkotsu and truffle ramen next. 😋

Visiting Tsukiya Tonkotsu Ramen truly felt like a special treat for any ramen lover. The moment I took my first sip of the Shoyu Tonkotsu ramen broth, I was amazed by the synergy of flavors created by the three types of aged soy sauce blending so perfectly with the rich tonkotsu base. It delivers an insane depth of flavor that is both complex and comforting. The chashu, tender and melt-in-your-mouth soft, added a luxurious texture that complemented the broth wonderfully. I also appreciated the noodles’ chewy texture, which is essential to a satisfying ramen experience — they held up well without becoming soggy quickly. Having waited about 20 minutes on a busy Saturday afternoon was totally worth it; the intimate, cozy space adds to the charm but do note that large groups might need to split up due to limited seating. Besides the Shoyu Tonkotsu, I’m eager to return and try their 3-miso tonkotsu ramen and the intriguing truffle ramen, each promising unique and bold tastes. For anyone exploring Japanese cuisine in Vancouver, Tsukiya stands out as a must-visit spot where quality is prioritized over quantity, exemplified by their carefully curated, small menu that highlights expertly crafted dishes. Remember to save this place in your food adventure list when you’re in the downtown area — it’s a gem worth savoring.
