My past jobs! Let’s talk about them!

Let’s Talk about the jobs I’ve worked over the past few years!

Taco Bell:

-Pay was like $10 an hour at the time

-constantly busy, it was right by the beach

-My poor ankles

- the only job I’ve ever gotten fired from. I called out of work because my ex started to be physically abusive, and my general manager missed her Christmas Party 🙃

Bowling Alley Manager

-I loved this job

-guys were creeps

-Honestly kinda miss it

Sales/Marketing

-the bane of my existence. That is all lmao

iGaming Support Supervisor

-I did enjoy this job for awhile

-I used to get ripped apart by customers, but I didn’t mind cause it was through a computer screen, so I could express my anger through my face lmao

-this was for a casino, so people are always mad when it comes to money

-I ended up leaving this job for my mental health, the late drive home put me in some really dark places mentally

Wildlife Conservation

-My dream job

- the pay isn’t great, but the fact I get to spend my time teaching kids about the importance of wildlife conservation is so worth it

-I get to see tigers and lions EVERYDAY?? I couldn’t be happier

My diverse jobs have taught me valuable lessons about resilience and adaptability. From my experience at Taco Bell, where I learned the importance of customer service, to managing a Bowling Alley where teamwork was key, I've faced various challenges. My time in Sales and Marketing opened my eyes to the complexities of consumer behavior, while my role as a Support Supervisor in the iGaming industry highlighted the significance of mental health in high-stress environments. How I landed ALL my jobs through cold applying… 🤫
Every single one of my post-grad full-time corporate marketing roles I’ve held was landed via cold applying with my resume on LinkedIn. And to make things more shocking, most of them were also via “Easy Apply” where I simply submitted my resume (and maybe asked a few identity related questions).
