What did I just find????
I snuck into a forbidden canyon and found this on top of the mountain
During a recent adventure into a canyon officially off-limits, I stumbled upon a remarkable archaeological site featuring large megalithic stone altars and carved pools atop a mountain. The scale and craftsmanship are fascinating, especially considering the age and the lack of comprehensive explanations about these structures. One of the most captivating features is a series of three giant towers, accompanied by large tubs or basins carved into the stone. It's believed these tubs may have been used for mixing substances, possibly for ceremonial purposes, as one basin seems to pour into another, culminating in a sizable pool. Intriguingly, one of the pools is approximately the size of a child, adding to the enigma of its purpose. Nearby, there is another building with clear stonework, possibly another altar or ritualistic area, complete with a gigantic round pillar and leveled platforms. This extent of megalithic construction indicates a significant cultural or religious center, but unfortunately, much of the specific history and function remains speculative. Exploring such sites firsthand offers a thrilling connection to the ancient past, underscoring how little we fully understand about the civilizations that constructed these monumental features. Many researchers and enthusiasts hypothesize about the rituals performed there, the meaning behind the design, and the technology available at the time. With platforms, pools, and towering stone structures that defy simple explanation, this site is a rare glimpse into a past civilization's monumental efforts to shape their environment for spiritual or communal purposes. For those interested in archaeology and ancient mysteries, such discoveries serve as a compelling reminder of how many secrets remain hidden in our natural landscapes, waiting to be explored and interpreted.
