Carrot Pickle

Ingredients

• 500g carrots (cut into thin sticks)

• 20g salt

• 60g mustard oil

• 15g mustard seeds

• 10g turmeric powder

Instructions

1. Prep carrots: Wash, peel, and dry the carrots completely.

2. Spice mix: Combine salt, mustard seeds, and turmeric powder.

3. Oil prep: Warm the mustard oil until it smokes, then cool it.

4. Mix: Combine carrots, spice mix, and oil; stir well.

5. Store: Transfer to a clean glass jar.

6. Curing: Leave in sunlight for 3–5 days, shaking daily.

The result — a crunchy, tangy, and flavorful Carrot Pickle!
