If I wasn’t afraid to hurt your feelings, this is what I would tell you about religion:
1. Religion teaches you separation (which is the first true sin) from God, that God is above you, in the sky, sitting on a throne, judging you, condemning you from birth, withholding everlasting life unless you follow a certain set of conditions.
2. Religion programs you for a life of conditional and judgmental love. From the beginning, you’re told God loves you unconditionally and then IMMEDIATELY followed with “only if you follow these guidelines.” Also, if you don’t follow these guidelines, you’ll be judged and thrown in Hell for your “sins.”
3. The more religious you are, the farther away you stray from God. God is unconditionally loving and unconditionally supportive. Religion programs you to believe the exact opposite, denying your true identity as God in Human form.
4. Religion is banking on you not THINKING. Let me explain something to you; you ARE NOT your body. You ARE NOT a human being. You are God. You are a spiritual being in a physical body, God experiencing itself as a Human. Now, if you are spirit and not your body, that means that who you truly are is nonphysical. How is a nonphysical, spiritual being going to be banished to a physical place?
5. Religion programs you to use the Bible against yourself, to keep you small, in fear, under control, and in bondage. I bet you’ve been using Matthew 19:16-30 to justify poverty, haven’t you?
I’m not here to bash religion. I’m here to remind you that religion is keeping you from experiencing God as intended, as One, always aware of your connection to the Infinite, and forever expanding and expressing more of the God in you!
It’s time to use that free will God gave you and choose Faith based on understanding rather than fear based on ignorance🦋

religion has definitely taken away the true message of God an uses quotes out of context to justify heinous behaviour when God is all about love an unity.
