It’s reassuring to know that you’re not alone and can learn from each other’s experiences. Another useful habit is carrying around items that bring comfort or joy—something personal in your bag that you enjoy can be a quick mood booster when stress hits. Small things like a favorite snack, a stress ball, or even a photo can serve as reminders to pause and breathe. Celebrating small victories, like birthdays or personal achievements, also helps to shift focus toward positivity and happiness. This practice boosts resilience and gives your mind something to look forward to, reducing stress impact. Lastly, setting daily intentions to ‘try not to get stressed the fuck out’ might sound casual, but making this a mantra can subtly reframe your mind to resist negativity. In sum, combining humor, supportive connections, comforting habits, and positive celebrations creates a strong foundation against stress.
