I am new here to Lemon8 platform, however, I would love to continue to document my pregnancy journey!
I am 30 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby 🤍
I have dealt with stretch marks since my first pregnancy!
A few questions I would get in regards to my stretch marks would be:
Do you think they will ever go away?
No they will definitely lighten up but they will remain.
How do you stay confident?
I never really saw my stretch marks as a bad thing. Might sound crazy, but ONLY until I started getting these types of questions was when I realized people thought it was an issue.
How does it make you feel?
It doesn’t change how I feel about myself. If that makes sense. I still love my belly
Products used?
I have a variety of products I started using this pregnancy. From store bought to all natural home made. Would you like me to share?
Tummy Tuck after?
Hard MAYBE
Are you embarrassed?
absolutely not and theres no reason any mother should ever feel that way.

I've had so many 'aha!' moments looking at my belly from the side view this time around. It's truly amazing how our bodies adapt and grow to nurture new life. At this stage, my '30 WEEK BELLY' feels incredibly active – constant kicks and movements keep me company! The sheer size of it from a side profile is a constant reminder of the little one growing inside.
When I first noticed stretch marks during my first pregnancy, I admit, I was a bit shocked. But honestly, over time, I've come to see them as a beautiful map of my journey. They tell a story of growth, change, and the incredible feat of carrying a baby. When people ask, 'How do you stay confident?' I genuinely tell them it’s about shifting perspective. These lines represent life, love, and the strength of a mother. There's no reason any mother should ever feel embarrassed about these natural changes. It's all part of the process!
Of course, while confidence comes from within, I do have a routine for my skin. For those wondering about 'Products used?', I've tried everything from rich shea butter and coconut oil to specific stretch mark creams. For me, consistency is key! I love a mix of natural oils like rosehip and almond, massaged in daily after a shower. It’s less about making them disappear and more about keeping my skin hydrated, supple, and feeling good. It’s a little self-care ritual that helps me connect with my body.
With my '3rd pregnancy,' 'preparation' feels different. It's less about buying every single baby item from scratch and more about preparing my other two children for a new sibling, and mentally preparing myself for the beautiful juggle ahead. We're getting the nursery ready, but it's more about refreshing than starting a new project. I'm focusing on rest, connecting with my kids, and enjoying these last few weeks of just us before our family grows again. It’s a special time of anticipation and reflection.
It's easy to get caught up in how our bodies look during pregnancy, especially with all the curated images we see online. But honestly, whether you feel 'chubby' or just bigger, embrace it! This body is doing an incredible thing. My focus has shifted from how my body looks to what it's capable of. Every curve and line is part of this beautiful chapter. You’re gorgeous and I applaud you for being so positive of your own body. I’m 30 weeks into my second pregnancy and have had people react like I’m huge for 30 weeks. After research I look normal for being this far. Thankyou for your light. It helped me even.❤️
