I was abused, bullied, and shamed in various ways by my #parents and even my #brother for years. To the point of no contact with some #family & estrangement from others. I was made to feel, it’s my fault for my #identity . I had the option to closet myself in #shame or come out ⚧️ and leave their world 🌍 I chose the later. I come across many Queer 🏳️🌈 kids, who have no family, and are wrestling to navigate the 🌍 without supportive folks. Many lgbt 🏳️🌈 folks are traumatized, and discarded like we aren’t humxns. All religions, and basic humanity is about loving thy neighbor, and yet people’s ignorance gets the worse of them to oppress others. It’s never a sin, to be accepting, shelter / feed, keep others safe, healthy, and happy 😃 even if you disagree with their way of life, hate is never the answer!
