Starting your day with a light protein shake, as I did on day 6 of my 75 Hard challenge, can really set a positive tone for your workouts. Protein shakes not only fuel your muscles but also help in maintaining energy levels without feeling weighed down throughout your gym session. I usually prefer shakes that are easy to digest, ensuring I don’t feel sluggish. Hydration plays a crucial role in the success of any fitness regimen. Drinking a gallon of water a day, as outlined in the 75 Hard rules, might seem daunting at first, but it becomes easier once you stay mindful of your intake by refilling your bottle regularly. Staying hydrated supports metabolism, aids detoxification, and improves cognitive function, all of which helped me maintain focus during my core workouts and outdoor activities. Completing two workouts daily—one of which should be outdoors—adds a refreshing variation to the routine. My day 6 included core exercises at the gym with my sister, followed by a 45-minute walk outdoors. This not only helped with physical endurance but also gave me a chance to clear my head and reduce stress. Meal choices are equally important; I opted for healthy tuna burgers with broccoli for supper. Choosing nutrient-dense foods ensures that your body receives the right vitamins and minerals to recover and build strength. Lastly, the mental aspect of the challenge is often overlooked. Reading 10 pages daily, as required, contributes to personal growth and keeps the mind sharp amidst physical challenges. Logging each activity and tracking progress consistently reinforces accountability and motivation. Embracing the 75 Hard challenge is about building resilience, both physically and mentally. Sharing these daily habits encourages others to find balance, stay disciplined, and enjoy the journey toward improved health and wellness.
