Moving Emojis 😉

2024/12/5 Edited to

... Read moreOkay, so I just shared my excitement about the new iOS 18 emoji effects, but seriously, you HAVE to know how to use them to truly bring your messages to life! It’s not just about the 'shaking head' emoji anymore; there's a whole world of dynamic expressions waiting. First off, let's dive into the 'Moving Emoji Tutorial' for adding these cool 'Text Effects.' It’s surprisingly simple once you know how. When you're in a conversation on Messages, type out your message as usual, and then either type out the emoji you want or select it from your emoji keyboard. Instead of just tapping the send button, give it a long press. This will pop up a new screen with options like 'Text Effects' and other bubble effects. Under 'Text Effects,' you'll see a range of awesome animations that can be applied directly to your emoji! My absolute favorites so far are 'Nod' for a gentle agreement, 'Explode' for when I’m super excited, 'Ripple' for a subtle wave, 'Bloom' for a warm feeling, and 'Jitter' for those moments of nervous energy. Playing around with these has totally changed how I communicate! Ever wished your emojis could be bigger or just pop a bit more? iOS 18 also makes it super easy to make emojis larger on iPhone. If you send just one, two, or three emojis without any accompanying text, they automatically appear larger in the chat bubble. It's a really simple trick to give your favorite emotional emoji impact without needing a special 'Small' or large setting. No more tiny expressions when you're trying to convey huge excitement or sadness! And for those of us who constantly 'Copy' and 'Paste' emojis, especially if you have a go-to '🤍 iPhone emoji' or a cool '🫧 iPhone emoji' you want to reuse, iOS 18 streamlines that too. You can still long-press on any emoji in a chat to bring up the context menu, then simply tap 'Copy.' This makes it incredibly convenient to quickly grab an emoji and paste it into another message, an email, or even a social media post. Seriously, it saves so much time compared to scrolling through the entire emoji keyboard to find that perfect 'waves emoji' again. Another handy feature I've been loving is the improved 'Search Emoji' function on the keyboard. With so many emojis out there, finding the right one can be a chore. Now, you can just type a keyword like 'happy' or 'star' into the search bar within the emoji keyboard, and it quickly pulls up relevant options. This is a lifesaver when you're trying to find that specific 'excited emoji text' or a less common one like the '🫵🏻 iPhone emoji' without endless scrolling. Overall, these new iOS 18 features really elevate the emoji game. They're intuitive, practical, and make expressing yourself so much more fun and dynamic. I encourage everyone to explore these moving emoji options and discover how they can make your daily chats more engaging!

God wants to do a new thing! Be grateful for everything that God has done in your life, just don't try to put a lid on Him and what He is doing (or what you perceive He is doing). Of course you know we can't, but sometimes we can miss what God is doing in a moment because we're dwelling
