For me, therapy has been a game changer—not only in understanding my emotions but also in developing healthier coping mechanisms. Parenting classes helped me gain patience and communication skills that extend beyond parenting roles, reinforcing personal growth. Education has also played a critical role by broadening my perspective and opportunities. Learning about ADHD was especially insightful, providing context for certain behaviors and challenges, and fostering acceptance rather than frustration. Incorporating enjoyable physical activities like pickleball has helped me reduce stress and improve my mental well-being. Perhaps the most important lessons have come from giving myself grace and practicing acceptance—acknowledging that progress isn’t linear and setbacks are part of growth. I encourage anyone on a similar path to identify small, supportive habits that resonate with their lifestyle.
