... Read moreHey fellow Xo Kitty fans and aspiring editors! I'm absolutely obsessed with Xo Kitty, and like many of you, I've fallen into the rabbit hole of creating and watching edits. There's just something about the show – the vibrant Seoul setting, the tangled love triangles, and the incredible character development – that makes it perfect for visual storytelling through edits. If you're just starting out or looking to refine your skills, I wanted to share a few tips and thoughts on what makes an Xo Kitty edit truly shine. First off, finding the right clips is *HUGE*. I usually look for scene packs (SCP) online, which are pre-cut scenes that save a ton of time. Websites like YouTube or specialized editing communities are great resources. For Xo Kitty, I always try to capture those iconic glances between Kitty and Minho, or the heartwarming moments with Dae. Remember those scenes where someone says, 'But you did smile,' even when they're trying to play it cool? Those subtle expressions are gold for adding depth to your edits. Next up is coloring (CC)! This can totally transform the mood of your edit. I love experimenting with different color grades to match the emotion of the scene – bright and airy for cute moments, or a bit more dramatic for intense ones. There are tons of free and paid colorings available, often as presets that you can apply directly in software like After Effects, which is my go-to. It might seem intimidating at first, but with a few tutorials, you'll feel like a pro in no time. And what's an edit without amazing audio (AC)? The music is the heart of an edit. I spend so much time scrolling through TikTok or YouTube for trending audios or specific songs that evoke the right feeling for Xo Kitty. Sometimes I'll even edit the audio myself, cutting and looping to get that perfect rhythm. When you combine the perfect audio with a really impactful scene, like Kitty trying to navigate her feelings for Minho and Dae, it just hits different. "Yeah, totally!" Don't forget about transitions and effects! Simple cuts can be powerful, but adding smooth transitions or subtle effects can elevate your edit. I use presets a lot to save time and ensure a consistent style. There are also plugins like Topaz, which can enhance video quality, making your edits look super professional. It's all about finding what works for your personal style and the story you want to tell. I'm incredibly hyped for the new season of Xo Kitty. I mean, after that cliffhanger, who isn't?! I'm already brainstorming ideas for new edits, imagining all the new dynamics and plot twists. Will Kitty finally choose? What new adventures await? The possibilities for fresh content are endless. Whether you're focused on the main love triangle, the friendships, or even the fashion, there's so much rich material. So, if you're passionate about Xo Kitty and love expressing that through edits, dive in! Share your creations, get feedback, and don't be afraid to experiment. The editing community is incredibly supportive, and it's so rewarding to see your favorite show come to life through your own creative vision. Happy editing!
