Their mapo tofu still my favourite!
The Crab Roe Ramen was such an interesting combination with an umami rich crab roe sauce and sweet crab meat. The Szechwan Twice-Cooked Pork Belly Don and Banbanji were really satisfying too.
And of course, I really love their Mapo Tofu! Still one of my favourites here.

During my visits to Chen's Kitchen, I've found that their culinary offerings truly showcase the rich and complex flavors of Szechwan cuisine. The Crab Roe Ramen stands out with its intense umami crab roe sauce combined with sweet crab meat, creating a luxurious taste experience that is both unique and comforting. It's evident that the kitchen draws inspiration from Michelin-level standards, elevating each dish with refined techniques. What I personally look forward to every time is their Mapo Tofu, which consistently remains a highlight. The balance of spicy, numbing Szechuan peppercorn heat with silky tofu is masterfully done, delivering an unforgettable depth of flavor. Pairing it with the Szechwan Twice-Cooked Pork Belly Don is a treat; the pork belly's seared texture and fragrant spices complement the Mapo Tofu perfectly. Another gem on the menu is the Banbanji — hand-shredded chicken drenched in a rich Szechwan sesame sauce that refreshes your palate amidst the robust flavors of other dishes. To complete the meal, I recommend ordering a refreshing drink to cleanse your palate and enhance the dining experience. If you're a fan of authentic Szechwan flavors with a gourmet twist, Chen's Kitchen offers dishes that are both satisfying and adventurous. Their Crab Roe Ramen and Mapo Tofu, in particular, are must-tries that keep me coming back. For those curious about exploring rich, umami-packed noodles or spicy tofu dishes, this place is definitely worth checking out.
