Clocked out of my last shift as a bedside nurse. 🥹🩺
Four years on this unit starting at the bedside, growing into a charge nurse, and slowly becoming someone I barely recognize from day one in the best possible way. A journey that shaped not just my skills, but my confidence, my resilience, and the people I now get to call some of my closest friends. 🤍
This unit has been such a huge part of my life and the provider I’ll get to be. I’m forever thankful for every patient, every lesson, every laugh, every crazy shift, and especially the people who became family along the way.
No matter what kind of shift we had, with this team, somehow every day was a good one. I always knew this day would come, but saying I’m going to miss y’all is an understatement. The best part is knowing this isn’t really goodbye. I’ll still get to round on patients on the same unit and pop in to see my people. 🥰
