God's plan did not fail.
God's plan did not fail.
1 Chr. 8: 1-40
This chapter highlights the generations of the tribe of Benjamin, the lists of which are written down in history, not only heroes, but also lists of those who did wrong things. In the tribe of Benjamin, there was Shaharaimi, who had sons in the land of Moab, after he had dismissed Hushim and his two wives Baara, and he also had children with his wife Hodesh. This was a failure in family life, an institution established by God to have only one husband / wife.
And it came to pass in detail unto the house of Saul, the first king of the children of Israel, though God provided the first king of Israel from the tribe of Benjamin, who was called a mighty and valiant tribe of warriors, but because Saul did not walk according to what God had said, he was removed from this office. Although Jonathan (son of Saul) had the right to become the next king, Jonathan knew that God's will had made David the next king. Jonathan instead envied and dealt with David, but encouraged his will to be fulfilled.
The family is designed to be generational, to create a generation that walks in the way of God. Some generations follow, others go astray. Fathers obey God, fear God, but have children who do evil. Some children, even with fathers who do evil, turn to God, and live pleasing to God.
Each of us is responsible for our duty. Husband, love your wife, be faithful to her. As for the wife, obey your husband, and honor your parents, and teach your children according to the principles of the Lord, that when they grow up, they will not depart from the way of God. As for the child, obey your parents in the Lord, for it is right. If each one acts according to God, is faithful, passes on faith, passes on blessings, passes on to the generation of God, we will see a family institution, even a small institution, that can change the whole world.
Human error does not mean God's error, but that human error will give us more insight into God's grace, love, and good will in our lives. God has a plan for welfare, not for all things, but the suffering we endure today is all from human action, but in the midst of these suffering we can live in God's welfare if we live in the shadow of the Almighty God.
