How long do you date someone before you make it an official relationship (exclusively and/or title of boyfriend or girlfriend, etc)? Or are there certain things that need to happen first?

I’ve dated this guy 3 times and now I’m crazy in love with him. But I don’t know if he feels the same. It’s killing me to pretend I’m not….
