Just some more things I have on my island 🥰
I want to add more shops but what kind is the question!?
Hey everyone! 👋 So many of you asked about my island builds, and I'm super excited to dive a bit deeper into how I brought some of these ideas to life. Crafting a unique island in ACNH is all about imagination, and I've picked up a few tricks I'd love to share, especially for those looking to create an ACNH zoo, a bustling shopping district, or even a serene Japanese island theme. First up, my ACNH zoo! It’s one of my absolute favorite spots. I started by designating a clear area and then focused on designing distinct fenced enclosures. Don't forget to incorporate a variety of animal plushies – they really bring the exhibits to life! For my aquatic section, I used different aquariums to display marine life like octopuses and starfish, making it feel like a real public aquarium. Adding stone paths and natural landscaping around the enclosures helps with the flow and makes it feel more authentic. Think about adding benches for visitors and signage too! Next, let's talk about building an ACNH shopping district. This was so much fun! For my 'Whole Foods Market,' I used a combination of stalls, custom designs for produce boxes (carrots, pumpkins!), and items like cardboard boxes and fruit baskets to mimic shelved goods. Don't underestimate the power of a good custom design for storefronts or branded bags! If you're going for a general convenience store vibe, think about vending machines, soda cans, and even a small cashier counter. It’s all about layering details to create that realistic feel. I’m still brainstorming more shopping district ideas myself, but I love seeing how many different types of stores you can create! And for those who loved my hibachi-inspired restaurant – if you're dreaming of a Japanese ACNH island, this is a fantastic starting point. Traditional Japanese screens are a must for creating cozy dining nooks. For the cooking station, I used kitchen islands and specific cooking furniture. Decorative lanterns and low tables really enhance the authentic atmosphere. Even small details like scattered cherry blossom petals or bamboo partitions can totally transform an area into a tranquil Japanese garden or bustling eatery. Building a cohesive Japanese acnh island often means consistent use of natural materials and subtle, elegant decor. Finally, for practical touches, don't forget areas like a cinema or a garden/farm. My cinema entrance uses custom signs and an ATM, while inside, rows of seating facing a large screen make for a perfect movie night. And a well-designed garden/farm area with neatly planted rows of tomatoes and beautiful greenhouses can add so much charm and utility to your island. I hope these tips inspire you to get creative with your own island designs! What areas are you planning to build next?
