What’s your self-care routine when you’re stressed
I find that doing my makeup can be a comforting and calming activity, especially when I’m feeling stressed. It can serve as a form of self-care and a way to focus on something positive and enjoyable, providing a temporary escape from stressors. Additionally, the act of applying makeup is a form of self-expression and empowerment, boosting my confidence and mood during challenging times.
I exercise when Im stressed because physical activity triggers the release of endorphins, which are chemicals in the brain that act as natural painkillers and mood elevators. Exercise can also help reduce levels of the body's stress hormones, such as cortisol and adrenaline. Additionally, engaging in a workout provides a distraction from stressors and allows me to focus my energy on something productive. Overall, exercise is an effective way to manage stress, improve mood, and promote overall well-being.
Here’s why I travel 5-10 times a year.. Traveling when stressed can offer a change of scenery and routine, providing a much-needed break from daily stressors. Exploring new places allows individuals to disconnect from their worries, immerse themselves in different cultures or natural environments, and gain perspective on their problems. Additionally, travel often involves engaging in enjoyable activities, trying new foods, and meeting new people, all of which can contribute to reducing stress and boosting mood. Traveling also offers opportunities for relaxation, adventure, and self-reflection, which can be beneficial for mental and emotional well-being.
