... Read moreSharing my income as a content creator has always been a bit daunting, but being transparent about what I earn online is essential for building trust and inspiring others. In April, I received payments from several sources such as Momcozy, Shopify Inc, and Lensmart, totaling over $100 USD. This kind of income, while not massive, reflects a growing trend where creators can monetize their passion through affiliate partnerships and sponsored content. Being a Canadian content creator has its unique advantages and challenges. For example, the Canadian content market is smaller compared to the US, but there is a strong community that values authenticity and transparency. Platforms and brands often appreciate when creators openly share their journeys and earnings because it creates relatable content and shows what is possible in this space. If you’re considering starting as a content creator, my advice is to focus on authenticity and consistent engagement with your audience. Track your payments carefully, as transparency not only helps with tax purposes in Canada but also builds your credibility. In my experience, clear communication about earnings helps demystify the process and encourages others, especially moms like me, to pursue content creation without fear of the unknown. Lastly, embracing hashtags like #creator, #contentcreator, and #transparency connects you to meaningful conversations and communities that support influencer growth. Sharing detailed monthly income reports and receipts fosters a culture of honesty and can enhance your digital reputation. Overall, being open about your online earnings is an empowering step in the content creation journey.

Exposing the Trap👏
I finished yet another powerful read this evening about a rather touchy subject amongst people these days👀📖 This book is for the people who say, “I’ve forgiven them,” …but still replay the moment in their head like a movie. Who show up, smile, and serve— …but deep down still feel the sting.
