Let me tell you, for a first-timer, they came out absolutely perfect – crispy on the outside, wonderfully chewy on the inside, and packed with that distinctive, aromatic pandan flavor. If you've been curious about how to make Vietnamese green waffles, you're in the right place! This isn't just a recipe; it's practically a guide to bringing a little piece of Vietnamese street food magic into your kitchen. To get started on your own delicious Vietnamese Pandan Waffle journey, here’s what I used. The key ingredients for any authentic pandan coconut waffle recipe are, of course, pandan extract and coconut milk. Trust me, these two make all the difference! You'll need: Ingredients: 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour ¼ cup tapioca starch (this is crucial for that signature chewiness!) ½ cup granulated sugar 1 teaspoon baking powder ½ teaspoon baking soda ¼ teaspoon salt 1 ½ cups full-fat coconut milk (don't skimp on this for richness!) 2 large eggs 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1-2 teaspoons pandan extract (depending on how vibrant you want the green color and how strong you like the flavor) Optional: a few drops of green food coloring for a more intense color, if desired. Now for the fun part – the steps to making these incredible pandan waffles: Instructions: Whisk Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the flour, tapioca starch, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
